The applicant postsecondary institution completes an order form for the application manual. The form along with a non-refundable
fee in the amount of $100.00 is submitted to The Association
of Online Academic Excellence.

The AOAEX will send the application manual for accreditation to
the institution within five (5) business days of receipt of payment.

The applicant postsecondary institution then completes both the
application and information sections of the application for accreditation
and returns it to the AOAEX with full payment.

The AOAEX reviews the application and documentation. An appropriate
assessor is assigned.

The assessor uses any obtainable methods to verify the accuracy
of the information submitted, which may include, but not be limited
to, contacting the postsecondary institution to discuss the completeness
of the application and request any additional quality documentation.
Once documentation is reviewed for completeness the assessment
process begins.

The assessment is performed and includes a review and examination
of all
documentation and records submitted. A written report of any negative
findings is provided to the applicant postsecondary institution
within ninety (90) days.

The applicant postsecondary institution may respond to any deficiencies
with
a written corrective action response.

The corrective action is reviewed by the AOAEX assessor and the
outcome is communicated to the applicant postsecondary institution
as well as to the AOAEX staff.

Accreditation is granted when all concerns are resolved and all
fees are paid in full.
